Description

Schlüter DITRA DRAIN is a reliable and long-lasting passive capillary drainage system designed for floor assemblies. It’s particularly suited for outdoor installations, where thin-bed tile adhesive is applied over a sloped bonded waterproofing system like Schlüter KERDI.

The Schlüter DITRA DRAIN 8 membrane, made from closed polyethene, provides an additional protective layer for waterproofing systems. This matting features an impact-resistant polyethene foil with a special truncated stud structure on one side and polypropylene filter webbing laminated on both sides. The filter webbing on the underside enhances the bonding of the cementitious tile adhesive, which should be applied with a 4mm x 4mm notched trowel to ensure DITRA DRAIN 8 is fully embedded.

Schlüter DITRA DRAIN 8 is specifically designed for outdoor applications and comes in a 12.5m² x 1m roll with a thickness of 10mm.

Please Note: A 4mm x 4mm notched trowel is recommended for securing Ditra Drain 8 Matting to the substrate.
