Description
Recycled and thermo‑bonded polyester, reinforced membrane, specifically designed to absorb shear stresses between substrates and bonded coatings; suitable as reinforcement for the laying of ceramic tiles of all kinds, large formats, porcelain tiles and natural stone.
Biotex increases safety when laying large format tiles with gel adhesives on critical and diverse substrates, increasing the strength of the bonded system and reducing the time required for interventions in renovation work.
– Length: 50m²
– Weight: 150 g/m²
– Specific for the depolarizing laying of large formats with H40 gel adhesives
– Increases shear strength between substrates and coatings
– Increases safety when laying large formats on critical and old substrates
– Avoids excessive thicknesses of adhesive in a single coat of laying when levelling any uneven surface
– High levels of durability over time in basic environments
– Only 0.65 mm thickness, ideal in renovation work
Maximum Tensile Strength:
– Longitudinal 430 (N/50 mm)
– Transversal 430 (N/50 mm)
Maximum Tensile Dilation:
– Longitudinal ≥ 30%
– Transversal ≥ 30%
– Permeable To Air: 1100 ℓ/m²s
– Flammability Class: B2 DIN 4102
For internal and external applications, to solidarize and separate before laying ceramic tile, large formats and natural stone coatings for domestic, commercial, and industrial uses.
Substrates:
– screeds and concrete;
– existing ceramic tile, marble floor tiles, natural stone, wood, metal, rubber, PVC, linoleum and fibreglass floorings anchored to the substrate;
– dry-lay flooring on panels anchored to the substrate
Do not use on deformable substrates, without having previously calculated the degree of flexure and having provided for the necessary fractionising joints on the screed; in adherence to concrete castings which have not yet fully cured.
