Description

Schlüter-DITRA DRAIN is a reliable and long-lasting passive capillary drainage system designed for floor assemblies. It’s ideal for outdoor installations, where thin-bed tile adhesive is applied over a sloped bonded waterproofing assembly, such as Schlüter-KERDI.

The Schlüter DITRA DRAIN 4 membrane, made from closed polyethene, provides an additional protective layer for waterproofing systems. This membrane features 4mm high conical studs topped with a filter webbing. The underside includes 2mm high inverted pyramids, forming square undercut chambers that help bond the cementitious tile adhesive to both the membrane and substrate. A 6mm x 6mm notched trowel should be used to ensure the membrane is fully embedded in the adhesive.

Schlüter DITRA DRAIN 4 is especially suitable for interior areas and smaller exterior spaces.
