Description

Schlüter KERDI is a flexible, crack-bridging waterproof membrane made from soft polyethene. It is coated on both sides with a special fleece webbing to ensure strong adhesion when embedded in suitable tile adhesive.

The membrane includes imprinted gridlines on one side, simplifying cutting and helping indicate the remaining material. These gridlines also show the minimum overlap width of 5 cm, essential for connecting multiple sheets.

To install, bond Schlüter KERDI to a level, load-bearing substrate using an appropriate adhesive. Tiles can then be applied directly on top of Schlüter-KERDI with the suitable adhesive and bedding material. The membrane is also compatible with other trowel-applied coverings or plaster.

Schlüter KERDI DS offers additional functionality as both a waterproofing membrane and a vapour barrier. It is ideal for applications like swimming pools, spa areas, and commercial spaces with high humidity levels. Vapor barriers are recommended for moisture-sensitive substrates such as wood, plasterboard, and gypsum plaster.
